Project Overview
Digital ABC lists based on Birkenbihl provide a framework for the creative process without restricting new ideas. In this way, innovations can be conceptualized in a target-oriented manner and implemented in the future, even in complex and information-demanding contexts.

Use-Cases in Practice
Results of meta-analysis show that management innovation is positively related to organizational size (rc = .282),knowledge management (rc = .608), organizational learning (rc = .692), firms’ overall performance(rc = .393), and financial performance (rc = .269). However, individuals need some driving force to help them overcome challenges associated with creative and innovative work, especially when they lack in intrinsic motivation.

(Khosravi et al., 2019)

Therefore, the ABC-Lists can be an effective tool to overcome this challenge by monitoring the innovation processes of each individual i.e. before brain-storming sessions and furthermore incentivize individual innovation work by enhancing there motivation extrinsically. For example, individuals with the best ideas and innovations, based on group surveying are incentivized. Moreover, ABC-Lists make sure, that individual ideas are not lost in group settings, because of psychological factors (i.e. introverted people are not courageous enough to share their ideas hence peer pressure or social anxiety). Lastly they help, to structure the innovation process and provide a goal-oriented direction.
